Burlingame, CA · Peninsula · Operator-owned fleet

Burlingame charter bus rental from the company that dispatches the driver.

Our South San Francisco yard is about 12 minutes north of Burlingame Avenue on US-101, which makes hotel row and the Broadway corridor effectively home turf for our dispatchers. No marketplace, no subcontractor, no 20–40% broker margin between the quote and the driver. The vehicles are ours and the drivers are on our payroll.

The runs our drivers already know

Road miles are from Burlingame Avenue downtown and times are typical off-peak. Burlingame Ave itself has almost no bus parking, so most of these rows are staged from the Park Road lot or from a hotel driveway on Bayshore.

Why it matters who owns the bus

Direct operator vs. national booking marketplace

Most sites ranking for "charter bus Burlingame" do not own a single vehicle. They resell operators like us and add a margin. Here is what changes when you skip that layer.

What Burlingame charters typically cost

The ranges below are published so you can budget before you call. Your quote is itemized to the hour and the mile, and a four-mile airport job is not priced like a day trip.

Minibus, 24–35 passengers$150–$175/hr

Driver included. Five-hour minimum, so a half day runs $750–$875. Hotel row transfers, Kohl Mansion guest loops, downtown evening runs.

Motorcoach, 56 passengers$190–$245/hr

Driver included. Quoted per itinerary on top of the hourly rate because deadhead, tolls and return time change the total.

Recurring shuttle programContract rate

Repeating hotel and conference loops on the Bayshore. Monthly invoicing, PO-based billing and net terms.

Always included: driver, fuel, standard insurance, live tracking. Quoted separately: tolls, parking, driver overnight on multi-day trips, gratuity if you choose to add it.

Burlingame FAQ

Answers from the people who dispatch the buses

How much does a charter bus cost in Burlingame?

A half-day (5-hour) 24-35 passenger minibus in Burlingame typically runs $750–$875 including driver, fuel and insurance. A 56-passenger motorcoach is quoted per itinerary. Short hotel-to-SFO work is priced on hours rather than distance, because four miles is not where the cost sits.

Can you handle a conference shuttle for a Bayshore hotel?

Yes. We run repeating loops for multi-day conferences on Old Bayshore and Airport Boulevard, usually with a double-decker on the morning wave and minibuses filling in through the day. You get one dispatcher for the whole program and a live tracking link to share with the meeting planner.

Where does the bus park for a Burlingame Avenue event?

Not on the avenue. We stage from the Park Road public lot or a hotel driveway and pull to the curb only for the load, which keeps the downtown blocks clear and avoids the tickets that come with a 45-foot vehicle sitting on a two-lane retail street.

Which airports do you serve from Burlingame?

San Francisco (SFO, about 4 road miles), Oakland (OAK, about 26 miles over the San Mateo Bridge) and San Jose (SJC, about 35 miles). SFO is close enough that a delayed flight means a hold at our yard rather than an extra hour billed to you.

Are you a broker or the actual bus company?

The operator. Umbrella Global Bus owns the Van Hool coaches and the minibuses, employs the drivers, and runs its own dispatch and shop from South San Francisco under CPUC TCP 0037963 and USDOT 3126263. Nothing is resold and no online booking marketplace adds a margin to your rate.

Can you issue a COI for Kohl Mansion or a Burlingame hotel?

Yes, usually the same business day. Venue and hotel risk teams normally want to be named as certificate holder and additional insured with specific limits, and because the vehicles are on our own policy we can send that without going back to a third party.
